We got 4 7ths.

I’m almost tempted to pass on Bradbury and let Veach go roster-bubble hunting, which he’s weirdly good at.

I don't want to pay $13.5M for 29 years old James Bradberry, but we need to do something to add to our CB group. NFL teams have to go young and cheap on CBs and try to develop. We will be drafting one early.

Spotrac.com estimates that the market value for Stephon Gilmore is two years $28M. Don't want to pay that either.

• 30 Deandre Baker CB, Age 24, 2022 1 year. If we want to keep for 2023 could do RFA
• 27 Rashad Fenton CB, Age 24, 2022 and UFA in 2023
• 38 L'Jarius Sneed CB, Age 24, (2022, 2023, and 2024 UFA
Luq Barcoo, CB, Age 24, Might surprise but only here on 1-year, cheap contract
• 2 Dicaprio Bootle CB/S, Age 24, On Futures contract
Brandin Dandridge CB, Age 25, On Futures contract
Early round draft pick in April.

I still like Fabian Moreau on a low-cost, low risk deal. He started 16 games for the Atlanta Falcons last year. Let him battle with the three Bs, Baker, Bootle, and Barcoo for a spot.

I got in on this discussion late. Looking at Bradberry's contract, it looks like 2022 base is $13,400,000 plus a $100,000 workout bonus. Where is the $5 to $7 million figure coming from?

To my understanding, that's exactly how it is done. But that is only done when a trade agreement is in place. The player doesn't really have any reason to decline the restructure unless they just REALLY don't want to play for the trading team.

NY has said they would eat part of the cap number. OTC has him listed with an extra year in 2023 so maybe they had a mechanism built in for something like this. I’d imagine they would convert a portion of his base to a bonus that would escalate to NYs cap upon a trade and would keep that base salary low for the team trading for him.

A trade is imminent. Chiefs, Colts, and Texans are all in the mix. The Giants must really want whatever draft pick is being discussed because cutting JB outright saves them $10 mil.

I would assume it wouldn’t take much. I’ve heard he’s going to be cut if he’s not traded.

It will be interesting to see what is being discussed, but we desperately need another corner and I'm not sure what else is out there besides Bradbury and Gilmore.

I guess it's gonna be draft or bust for additional pass rushers or wr...

In six years as a pro, he has amassed 15 picks and a whopping 82 passes defensed to go along with over 300 tackles. Get this guy in here STAT.

I might get blasted for this but who cares but even at his age I'd rather have Gilmore he's still a good corner we don't need him to be all world. I rather sign him and save a draft pick and hit on a player like another Sneed or something.
