On the field, Mizzou faces what appears to be a much easier schedule than in years' past. The early season is loaded with home games before a protracted road stretch from mid-October through November.

Hamas' Crystal ball sees a lot of variance. I could see this team winning as few as 7 and as many as 10 games. Georgia is the only certain loss. Florida is likely still overrated by name, but time will tell.

Whew! What a break. Ole Miss player had the TD if he hadn't been overthrown. Instead, turned over on downs, Mizzou gets the ball back about where they had it before the pick.

Good win. But I don't know what to think about the defense tonight. 3 TD in the last quarter and a half made it a much closer game than it should have been. Maybe it was just the whole rotating quarterbacks thing that kept the defense off balance. But if they don't do better than that against Georgia and Florida, they won't have a chance.
