Frank Clark no longer ****ing sucks

Ok, guys. Frank has stopped drinking and is serious about this season. I can’t stop drinking for more than 8hrs at a time so Clark’s abstinence is notable and impressive. He and Andy had a heart to heart, shared some cheeseburgers (Frank is probably now also vegan and went Impossible Burger), chugged some Mr. Pibb, and came to an understanding.

Watch his presser from today. It’s probably one of the most real and honest things I’ve seen from a player. If you’re rooting against Frank Clark after that you’re probably either repressing some demons in your life or are related to Red Dawg.

This is a safe space to celebrate Frank Clark this season. 8 sack minimum. Let’s build this guy up rather than choosing to spend the season breaking him down.

Join me on the Shark bandwagon. There’s blood in the water.

And the obligatory: keep doubting Frank ****ing Clark.

There's a time to part ways with almost every player, but Frank has been a difference maker in key spots for the Chiefs. Playoff Frank will rightfully live on in Chiefs lore.

1. He either needs to take a drastic pay cut or you just cut him.
2. Brown Jr is getting a new deal and at this point...it's the best option.
3. I would honestly let him see what's on the market and then bring him back if he isn't getting the deals he wants. I've been a fan of his since the beginning but you can't pay everyone.
4. We should be working on an extension with Jones this offseason. Lower his cap hit this year and keep him here for the rest of his career.

Matt Verderame was at the Super Bowl and said that Patrick, Kelce and Jones all said how much they loved Frank and how much he helps and means to the team and why they want him back.

Man…tough scene for the “Frank sucks and brings no value” thinkers. Pretty sure they’ll work something out with him to come back.

Oh he brings some value.. But not at what we have paid him. If he wants to come back next November for a playoff run (at a vet minimum) I'm all for bringing him back.

Frank Clark does suck.

And if his value is as a quasi-coach, mentor and buddy, put him on the staff.

But at least we've moved on from "Nobody sets an edge like Frank Clark - he's just doing his job!!" to something even MORE nebulous and impossible to quantify in "hey, he's tight with the boys...."

Y'all are so desperate to justify paying this guy more than any other player on the roster over the last 4 years that you're just gonna keep grabbing at any floating logs that come your way, aren't ya?

Bruh, I don't think a single person is actually serious about wanting to pay him that ridiculous $. More resigned to the fact he may very well be coming back and having some fun shitposting about it

If Frank played for another team, we would be super pumped to sign him to a cheap one year deal next year. So as long as we don't over pay him again, I'd sign him.

We have to address the DL in a significant way. Frank, Dunlap, Chris Jones, Nnadi and Saunders all have to be dealt with this off season.

Well his cap hit was just North of $13 million this year. That’s less than half of what the top guy (Joey Bosa) cost against the cap for 2022.

Obviously he’s not coming back at $28.6 million. If (when?) he restructures to half that number like he was last year then it’s fine with me.

If they let him go I’m cool with that too. Veach has my trust.

Frank is only worth a bout a quarter of what Bosa is at this point.

Imagine a life spent lurking on CP only to emerge from the shadows to come after one of team's postseason heroes during a historically unmatched 4yr stretch...

Restructure and have him have a hit in 24? Just pull the bandaid off and move on.

Frank Clark is a mobster and I don't think we win the Super Bowl without him

Imagine having someone like Frank who balls out so hard in the playoffs that he is 3rd all time in postseason sacks, and then thinking about letting him go somewhere else

Yep, I would rather he suck in the regular season than the playoffs.
