Likewise. And I've said literally a dozen ****ing times that this team still needs to draft Geno Smith and doing otherwise is foolish.
But Christ, can nobody look at anything on its face? Alex Smith is still a competent starting QB even if Geno Smith dies tomorrow. Even if Geno Smith becomes the hybrid lovechild of John Elway, Dan Marino and Joe Montana. But hey, let's make sure we cut down Alex Smith to make Geno Smith appear a more attractive option - because lord knows that's how you make your case that Geno Smith is a badass. Geno Smith is a great QB prospect in his own right. Geno Smith should be our #1 overall pick. Now is anyone capable of actually talking about Alex Smith for who he is rather than who he is not?
