*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Favre and Cutler did not care to put the work in, listen to coaches 100% or show much humility. They did what they wanted bc of their arms.

Mahomes was raised very well and it shows. He’s taking coaching very well, he busts his ass studying and he is prepared.

Favre was winging it most of his career. I have seen no evidence that Mahomes would ever do that as a pro.

Honestly,

I wish Reid would bring in Farve to be QB coach. I think he could teach Mahomes alot of things. And before you start with the

"We don't want Farve to teach this kid bad shit..."

Think of it from this perspective.... Maybe Farve could view it as a opportunity to "Right the Wrongs" of his career. I can't think of a guy like Farve who could really bring some energy and excitement to the coaching staff like Farve.

Hell, in a couple of years under Andy he might make a good OC. I always thought Tony Romo would have gone to coach. Think Doug Peterson, but was a GOOD QB........

Coached a HS team to a state title
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200...tate-title-win

Podcast where he talks about maybe being a GM or coach one day.
http://m.espn.com/general/play?id=19767340

Personally, I’m not advocating for it. But he does have an interest and has coached at the Hs level.

They actually asked Brett about it iirc.

Brett said he’d love to coach Pat at some point, but after his kids are done with school. Said he knew his early years could have been better if he absorbed more coaching and how he could really help Pat.
