Draft Risers & Fallers

Noticed several names getting hot and rising fast while others are falling...thoughts?

Risers

Landon Dickerson, Samuel Cosmi, Spencer Brown, Hunter Long, Dyami Brown, and Brevin Jordon make the list for seemingly making minor jumps up say one round.

But here's a list of some guys on ESPN's 3-round mock draft and elsewhere I've seen really climb:

Patrick Jones II Pitt EDGE @ #62 ESPN
Dwayne Eskridge WR Western Michigan @ #67 ESPN
Jealon Dardon WR N Texas #79 PFF
Cade Johnson WR S Dakota State #92 ESPN
Simi Fehoko WR Stanford #97 ESPN

Fallers

Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami going in the mid-2nd round? 19.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks in 2019, might be the best rushing edge in the draft. Oweh had zero sacks and Phillips has serious concussion concerns after he already retired once.

WR TJ Vasher, Houston 6'6 210 lbs TX Tech ~"was previously a Day 2 pick, but due to work ethic concerns has dropped to rd 4-7 or may potentially go undrafted." Similar story to DGB, unfortunately.

Thoughts? Impressions? Any other names you've noticed?

Trevor Lawrence is gonna fall. He doesn’t love football.

I read the 3 round mock from Mel and McShay.

I'm sincerely glad they aren't drafting for KC.

OC Dickerson
ER Koonce
OT Borom

A center that would start where year 1?
An ER that largely doesn't fit the Spags/Veach mold.
A OT that needs to move inside at the next level and would be a massive reach in the 3rd IMO.

**** all that noise.

With what they had, give me
WR Brown
DE Turner
CB Abedo

We'll figure out OT.

It'd be hard not to trade up in 2 for Cosmi or Radunz with where they have them slotted.

Dude, your 3 would be GREAT. Niang can play LT, let Remmers and Long man RT this year. Get at tackle next year to fill that RT hole long-term.

I'm just not going to get hung up on need. This is a Super Bowl team with or without a drafted, starting LT in 2021.

Those 3 guys you listed would not only contribute year 1, they could have IMPACT year 1. I'd take that every time.

If you take their comments about Niang as the truth and that Long can compete with Remmers for RT....then I could see them taking a guard (not super high) to compete with LDT. You could take a guy like Meinerz to compete at RG or take over at C depending on Blythe.

I was equally annoyed w/ that mock. In that scenario, I would want Chiefs to trade up for Jenkins or take Rousseau in the first. trade up in 2nd a few picks for Rousseau or pick WR Wallace, OL Brown, or OL Little, and in the 3rd I guess WR Fihoko or TE Brevin Jordan. I like Dickerson, but would feel better with him if he fell to 63 considering injury history. I'm really high on WR Brown as well after you turned me on to him in another post.

I don’t see Fields falling, but apparently he’s battling epilepsy.

Mac Jones is going to be the 3rd QB off the board. He's going to the 49ers.
