The Star Wars sequels.

And the prequels.

Can we try all that again and NOT **** it up?

The Black Cauldron.

Movie never stood a chance because of troubled development.

That movie with Matt Damon where people shrunk themselves and lived in tiny little utopias where their resources increased exponentially.

That could've been an awesome Netflix series and instead it ended up being a pretty shitty movie that just couldn't make up its mind if it wanted to be taken seriously (hint: it shouldn't have been).

I wanted to like Mortal Engines because Peter Jackson just makes visually awesome stuff and the idea should've been metal as hell. But instead they turned it into a YA Fiction sort of movie that really just ended up stuck in between audiences and didn't appeal to anyone. That Hook prequel w/ Hugh Jackman gnawing on every bit of scenery and god-awful Nirvana butchering was again a cool idea that went really poorly.

The Dark Tower got weirdly Disneyfied. The Indy movie with Lilly James where the guy gets a concussion and comes back into a world without the Beatles so he rips them off and then they CGI an elderly Lenon into the end (and I THINK he knows what happened but nothing is ever clarified at all...)

Shit, I could do this for a few days. So many cool ideas that just fell apart in the execution and/or the ending.

I'm glad you feel me! Really cool concept and the movie itself was decent enough. I don't remember disliking it, but I remember feeling like it could've been better. The fact that it came out within the last 10-ish years and no one is talking about it is kind of a testament to that.

**** you! Justin Timberlake is awesome. He was great in Alpha Dog (I think that's what it was) and funny as shit in Love Guru. He was funny enough in Bad Teacher too.

Who do you think would have been better in the role?

Scientifically speaking---one of the worst I have ever seen. Ripped to shreds here

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2126355...ref_=tt_trv_gf

The magic of Earthquake and Towering Inferno, is that it focused on more than one set of main characters with multiple story lines.

Most the the Rock's movies are remakes. Have not seen one that is better than the original.
