Minor visual changes (that should be noticeable in dark mode)

Just so people don't freak out, we're making some minor updates to a lot of the icons on the site, courtesy of Armyofme. He saw people talking about our shitty icons in the thread about dark mode and volunteered to help us get some things updated.

Most of them will look like better versions of what we had before, but you may notice a few icons changing to something slightly different. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

(And say thanks to Armyofme for the work!)

FWIW most phones have a dark mode. Even iPhone with smart inverse.

I've been using Royalsplanet for five years.

It's much easier on the eyes.

Red and yellow is fine for uniforms but I don't want to stare at it all day.

Agree. Have used RoyalsPlanet for years. Easy on the eyes. A dark mode version would be awesome.

I was actually considering a dark mode with little color as an option.

This first round is mostly just cleaning up what’s there with minor changes, then I’ll play around with a truly dark mode.

It's hard on the eyes to discern the difference between read and non-read threads right now.

On the regular forum skin there is a high contrast between read and non-read threads.

There's a red mark (downward pointing arrow) to the left of thread titles that you haven't read.

Oh, thank you Daface and armyofone for doing this. After Sweet Daddy Hate told me about darkmode, which was the conversation that caught everyone's attention and led to them also switching over, I'd noticed you saying it wasn't going to get any attention. I'm glad you and army are looking into tweaking this and for any improvements you guys do. I think it's much easier on the eyes and seems more fitting for a Chiefs forum FWIW.

I think I like dark mode on a phone, but still really prefer RoyalsPlanet theme on the full screen.
