This is the ideal male body. You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like.

Really a total package player.

He doesn't have a super powerful punch where he's going to drive guys backwards (so maybe not an ideal short yardage sort of road grader), but he's just so damn technically sound. He'll at least slow you up and then immediately re-set. And once he gets set and has hands on you, the rep is over. As a pass blocker he can be essentially impossible to beat because even if you rock him at the snap, his feet are so good he can re-anchor and simultaneously get leverage on you (presumably his wrestling background).

He's also extremely smart so he recognizes what the DL is trying to do and is prepared for it. You're not gonna fool him very often nor are you going to be able to set him up.

He's just about a perfect 'modern' center. The Chiefs have had exceptional success at C over the years but this feels like the kind of guy who should be here for 10+ years and be in the ring of honor someday. Just a great addition to the squad.

Gotta love the wrestling background and how he transends (think that's the word I'm looking for) the experience into being a center in the NFL.

Guy is a total badass.

Translates? Transitions? Yeah, probably transitions; I think that would be the verb tense for 'transitive property'.

In either event - yes, you can see how wrestling has helped him become the player he is. Like baseball played a huge role in Mahomes being able to throw off platform, I think wrestling did a lot to help Creed maintain his power when his body/base are put into odd situations.

You just rarely see him off-balance out there. And even when he is, he doesn't do that swiping/lunging/flailing thing that even some quality players like OBJ do. He's under control even when he isn't.

And that wrestling background is probably a big reason for that. Body control is just so critical.

He was the best center in the league last year……as a rookie. Imagine how much better he can still get as he hits his prime.
