Really good college player (most remembered for blowing Mizzou's best FF chance by getting whistled for a technical late in an Elite 8 game)

Really shitty assistant coach for Norm Stewart (horrible recruiter)

Really good D2 coach (as long as he's at a great D2 athletic program like CMSU)

Really ****ing shitty D1, power 5 coach (possibly the worst since coaches starting being something more than a university gym teacher and definitely the worst in modern history)

A 'in the know' poster on Power Mizzou (or as 'in the know' as Power Mizzou ever is) says that MPJ didn't get the medical clearance he was hoping for and now won't have any chance of playing prior to March.

So there's that.

If that's the case, he just won't play for Mizzou. They're not bringing him back in the tournament - no telling how they could incorporate him.

It’s numbahs, so I would bet the opposite. However, that doesn’t necessarily preclude it from being true.

@cdotharrison: I'm more concerned about what Blake Harris transferring means about Porter coming back to play this year. Porter is the only reason he's at MU.

So Cuonzo's weird fascination with Geist cost us Harris?

That sucks something awful. Harris was going to be a damn good 4 year player for us and now we don't really even have any potential at PG. We have Geist and Phillips, two exceptionally flawed players with no ceiling to speak of.

That's tough as hell and strikes a serious blow to our tournament hopes.
