I don't see how paying him his due was smart.

I also don't see how cutting him is smart.

Conley was never a legit no 2 and now we have no legit no 1 or no 2...

Obviously the Chiefs didn't think he'd return to 2015 form, and he was overpaid relative to production.

We have Tyreek Hill. He took fewer snaps than Maclin but had more receiving yards and touchdowns

Nah. Most of Maclin's 74 targets should go to Hill.

I think he'll increase his yardage on similar targets, however.

Maclin is clearly on the decline so I don't know what "healthy" stats you're referring to, especially when Kelce is the Chiefs #1 target.

But yes, I expect Conley to continue to ascend this year and put up between 650-750 yards receiving, based on his ascension the past two seasons.

Adding another 200 yards to his 2016 performance should be a given, especially now that Maclin is no longer on the roster.

I don't like him because he was shit before his injury because his friend died. Yeah that sucks but it's a shit excuse for letting your level of play fall off a cliff. IIRC the Royals had several players lose parents during their championship runs and they still rallied and did their ****ing job.
