Favorites for Saturday Morning

1. The cooking network...except Sandra Lee gets on my last damn nerve.
2. Imagination Movers (although only 5 months old, she loves this show)
3. The husband making waffles
4. One hour to myself while the husband sleeps and the daughter takes her first am nap, because she gets up at the crack of dawn
5. A blank day with hardly anything to do, but laundry.
6. Basketball....basketball...and more basketball...

Things I Miss about Sat. Am:

1. Looney Tunes - what happened with looney tunes? Remember when they played them the whole morning?
2. Sleeping in and watching TV in bed

You?

This.

Cartoons used to be a big deal. Saturday morning was all you got... and I damned sure didn't miss it. On the rare occasion that they showed a Looney Tunes movie in the evening, it was a family event.

3rd gen JoHo here, saturday morning was "go pound on doors and sell Watchtower and Awake" about the only time I ever got to see loney tunes was when one of the parents were sick, or snow days.
Besides "most" of the cartons were deamed "inaproperate" for "christian viewing" acording to my folks anyway

I usually end up watching HGTV. I did sleep in this morning, though.

BBQing
Watching rented movies with the girlfriend
having a relaxing, carefree day.
Drinking

Dislikes
