Yeah. I think Terrance Williams or DeAndre Hopkins will fall to us at 34. I actually like Williams, but I question his speed.

I can't wait to see these WR's run the 40. Hopefully Hopkins runs a 4.5 and drops to us.

This would be one hell of a draft IMO.

1. QB you want (we'll say Geno)
2. DeAndre Hopkins WR Clemson
3. Logan Ryan CB Rutgers.

Imagine being able to get Charles and Harvin in space consistently.

Shit all the talk about having Harvin (which is unlikely) and Charles on the field at the same time would terrify the shit out of a DC.

Just release Cassel already, unless of course we can con Oakland into trading for him...

There are guys out there that can get behind safeties and stretch a defense without being sub 4.4. Getting someone that fast would be a luxury though, certainly.
im not trying to be a dick but you do realize you are proving me right.

i dont know if you follow the NFL but Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell were both fast essentially yes, like Percy Harvin and Desean Jackson. Both guys ran a 4.45 which is essentially saying, Andy Reid has always had a fast WR in his scheme. ALWAYS. Speed.

Todd Pinkston was clocked running an unofficial 4.37, so your argument is actually back firing.

No, probably not.

But even a line up of Bowe, Harvin, Charles in the BF, Baldwin would be pretty impressive.

A guy like Dex might even be able to get open in that set.

And if we are or do decide on drafting a QB at 1, he's going to need all the weapons and help he can get. So I won't get really upset if we offense heavy this draft early.

But we have to get an ILB and a Cb somewhere.

You're right, Pinkston was a sub 4.4 guy. I just didn't think of it because he didn't have the same kind of "speed" that Desean Jackson or Percy Harvin is.

Todd Pinkston was essentially you're straight line track guy. I always thought he looked stiff on the field. Jackson and especially Harvin are "shifty". Maybe quickness is a better term than speed?
