Correct. They talked about Tillman and how he has high potential but injuries hurt him. Said we spoke to him a lot.

You'll be talking about trading for Jalen Ramsey when he's in a wheelchair but suddenly we can't draft any 24 yr old?

I'd really need to circle back on Johnston a bit.

I've been dinging Johnston in my head because he's a fringe first rounder to me while so many others had him in the top 10. Meanwhile I've been loving up Rice back when he was considered a possible 3rd rounder and I had him in 2.

So I'd have to take off my 'man, these guys are overrated/underrated' glasses and just view them in a vacuum and truth be told I just haven't done that. If I did, I suspect I'd start to be less hard on Johnston and a little more aware of Rice's faults.

I do think, however, that neither guy should be discussed in the same breath as Dell or Bell. There's a clearly demarcation between between Johnston/Rice and Bell/Dell.

There've been like 2 of them over the last couple years with any prospect pedigree and one of those kinda sucked (Mafe).

And Brett don't draft short CBs either.

Again - if you start taking every 23/24 yr old player out of this draft, you're hacking off a LOT of the board. Better get used to it.

Ditto.

Gonna focus the rest of my time on the things all these guys do well, rather than worry about what they don't do well and trying to slot them because of it.

Tillman would 100% be a 2nd round pick.

Yeah, I need to start looking at them stand alone rather than "Nah, this guy sucks because he isn't a first rounder and Daniel Jeremiah thinks he'll go top 20..."

Thinking he's the 45th best prospect instead of the 17th best prospect doesn't mean I think he sucks. And if I ultimately would have the guys at 45/46 instead of the talking heads having them at 17/60 respectively, I'm gonna be way harder on the former guy than the latter and I really shouldn't be.

So I'll make a commitment to cleansing my palette here...but I'm not gonna actually do it. Ain't anybody got time for that - I'm not getting paid for it.

My receiver wants would be:
1. Quinton Johnson (top 40)
2. Jalin Hyatt (top 40)
3. Rashee Rice (top 40-50)
4. Cedric Tillman (top 60)
5. Marvin Mims (top 75)
6. Jonathan Mingo (top 75)

Bell is someone I'd like in round 4 or 5. I think he fits KC well.

I have no desire for Tank Dell. Too small.

Rashee Rice tested as an elite athlete yet on film he doesn't really separate so I do have some questions about that.
