I kind of wish people would take it more seriously I guess, for their own good and for the good of the team on the field. But hey, it's a party. Let's get smashed. LOL
I have taken note you don't drink in other posts. I was more referring to people getting so inebriated that they start doing things that are detrimental to their health with respect to the weather. You know we have all seen the drunken guys shirtless in the stands, that kind of thing.

Wait. Pat's fans are using the cover 2 excuse in this thread too?? They were telling me in another thread that KC only came back because NE played a soft cover 2 in the 2nd half because they had such a big lead (8 points after the 3rd play of the 2nd half).

Maybe BB should just quit playing cover 2?

Oh yeah, sorry for not being clear.

I don't drink (at least not often) but I definitely don't care whether others do.

I was talking about the same thing as you - people getting drunk to the point where they aren't aware of themselves and their surroundings. At best, as was my point, they aren't contributing to their fullest extent to their role as the "12th man". At worst, somebody is getting hurt.

We absolutely agree.

I was being facetious earlier but now I'm being sincere - perhaps all the second half cover 2 is because the Pats got freaking tired chasing them all over the field.

Remember what that Broncos DB said about his Fitbit? (I think it was Chris Harris)

Hear me, vain and foolish mortal Belichick. You dare compare your quarterback's arm to mine and in my own sacred sanctuary? You will repent your boast and the cruel injury you have inflicted on my son, Mahomes.

Forgive. Forgive!

In 3 days, on the eve of the longest day of the year, your quarterback must be taken to the sacrificial pocket at the edge of the Red Sea, there bound and chained to Arrowhead Stadium.

He must be unknown to woman, a virgin. A sacrifice suitable for the Kraken. He must be delivered to the Kraken at the setting of the sun or else the Kraken will destroy all Boston and everyone within the city. For the insult you have done to me and the cruel injury inflicted on my son, I demand the life of Brady.

In 3 days.

RELEASE THE KRAKEN!

The #Patriots will want to change up their looks/disguise defenses so as to not let Mahomes get comfortable, they're still predominantly a man coverage team - for good reason. Opposing QBs complete just 53% of their passes vs. Pats in man with a passer rating of 78.5, best in NFL
