MLB Playoffs on TBS?? - Page 3

That was heartbreaking. They just showed a shot of Muhammad Ali at the Diamondbacks game and as the camera was rolling, he slobbered all over himself and had to have someone wipe it up. I'm glad he is out and enjoying himself, but sad that the camera had to catch him at that moment.

I didn't say baseball was doing better than the NFL. I'd never even suggest that, but it's not dying either. That's what I was saying, you're going too far the other way there.

I gotta say the broadcasting crew is just terrible.

Good lord, TBS is the absolute worst. The two guys doing the Sox game last night nearly put me to sleep and it seemed like TBS put all their money into winning the contract and forgot to buy mics for the field. I mean I don't think I heard the crowd even once durring the whole game.

unless the crowd really was quiet becasue only rich snoobs have enough money to actually attend the game.

With the exception of Frank Thomas, TBS's coverage has been terrific. Blows the doors off of what Fox or ESPN would've done.
