You go right on ahead and blame Ned if it makes you sleep better at night, I'll blame the F'ing pitcher.
You're acting like this is the first time he's done this. We have a much better chance of coming back down 5-0.

It's not like we're saying Davis isn't at fault. He obviously was. But what's the harm in bringing in Hoch with two outs instead of having Davis try to get through 5?

I don't think we will see first place again this year. Detroit is playing lights out and getting it together.

Mike Stanton, yeah, he would be AWESOME to have, but you're going to trade 1 slump for another? Maybe down the line but not now.
If this team could get Stanton and ONLY give up Moose and some legit prospects, that deal should be made yesterday.

We did. A couple batters before the homer, Hoch started warming up. He needed time.

I disagree that he was called too late. Obviously with perfect 20/20 hindsight you can argue that.

Frenchy would probably get released if that trade happens. Good enough for me to do it.

I would LOVE to see Stanton on this team. It would just depend on what Prospects FOR ME. I'd like to know what baseball people and other GM's have thought about for his worth, trade wise. I'm sure its been discussed to death by everybody.

Is there any substance to Stanton?

Or use being overly optimistic?
