10 years on Chiefsplanet

Wow, how time flies. I don't chime in a whole lot, but I've sincerely enjoyed following along with the major CP storylines over the past decade. I've had my ups and downs over the past 10 years, but its great to come back to this group of delinquents after a long day.

I've been here long enough to have been through the passing of several notable Planeteers, many of your tribulations, and success stories, it reminds me as much as we bicker and give each other a hard time, it's a family. I've tried to turn on several of my Chiefs friends to this place and they just dont get it. Their loss...

As I sit here, smoking my cigar and reflecting over the past 10 years, I just want to thank you all for being such a meaningful part of my life.

I think there was such an event. Just wondering if that was the inspiration for your UN?

There is a festival in Garnett, KS called Cornstock, but I didn't know about that at the time. I picked the name as an homage to my home town in Iowa, and to my mom who is a big Peanuts fan, she loved the character Woodstock.

1500 is awfully generous, that place has a serious case of brain drain. Not uncommon for rural Iowa. As is the 1 sex offender stat. Pretty sure there were 3 within a 3 block radius of my house there.

Not to be racist or anything, but a bunch of Hmong people bought one of the 2 hotels in town and according to my sources within the district they tape their underage cousins regularly. It doesn't get reported because the community is so insular. Major human trafficking along hwy 34 as well. Also, a big meth problem in general, especially in northern Adam's county.

I'm reminiscent of the place, but there was nothing there for me.
