I'd be very against trading for a QB if it involves giving up a 5th round or higher draft pick.

I like the approach Washington went with this year, high first round draft pick for their starting QB (RGIII), middle round draft pick for his back-up (Cousins), veteran QB as the third string QB, glorified assistant coach role (Rex Grossman).

If the Titans release Matt Hasselbeck, he'd be a good fit for that third string QB, glorified assistant coach role.
