I'm thinking if the Chargers win tonight Mahomes plays. If the Raiders win tonight he is the backup.

Have you ever made out with Clay? I didn't think so.

He does this thing with his tongue that will leave you swooning. Then he whispers Reggie Raglands in your ear and it's all over.

He just never called JakeF back the next day and that's why that mega-douche is so angry.

Why is that? It the Chargers win and we lose to the Titans, the game next week is for 1st in the West. If the Raiders win, we are a game up on the Raiders with the tie break in hand and a home game coming up with them after the bye.

I'm struggling to think of something that he actually got right. If you've followed along closely it's been mostly either wrong, or just reports that swayed with the national media narrative.

This "prediction" of Mahomes starting this week comes on the heels of National reports on Sunday night talking about Mahomes being back for the Titans game. As well even earlier reports stating that if everything went well, it would be a 3-week injury. And Jay Glazer talking about re-injury risk factors 2 weeks vs 3 weeks. And after watching Mahomes bounce around on Sunday, and quotes of him saying "If it were a playoff game i'd be playing", this "prediction" is something any of us would've made as its the most logical conclusion based on all the evidence provided.

Much like the Jalen Ramsey fiasco where we watched the "Chiefs editorial board" or w/e literally change with the winds created by the National Media.

The Chris Jones extension hasn't happened as predicted either.

Everything, if you've played close attention to what's being said by who and when it's being said, is a complete farce.

Andy wants Mahomes to be healthy when he comes back. If that means he sits a week or two, or if he is ready today, good. The Titans can be beat with Mahomes or Moore, Andy isn't risking Mahomes if he isn't ready. Andy isn't watching freaking Thursday night football to decide if the Franchise QB is worth playing a game early on the idea it makes the division 10% more likely to win.

Second, Andy isn't worried about the division. Andy wants a playoff bye. We are winning the West even if Moore plays the next two games.

Third, the Raiders schedule is easier than the Chargers remaining schedule, and the Raiders are a half game up on the Chargers. Whoever wins this game will be a minor threat to the divison, as in 5% or less.

PM2 sits. Not worth the risk especially with a salty Titans D that btw has had our number these past couple of years and now they have us in their back yard. Now with that said, I believe we can still beat the Titans with Moore. Our run D has vastly improved and if we can keep Cook under a 100 and no TDs we can surely stifle Henry. And Tannehill? Really?

From what I've read on the Titans forums, a lot of that defensive front is injured. Their secondary is missing Butler.

If I had to bet, I'd lay money on Pat playing this weekend.

Assuming he wakes up tomorrow and everything is 100% okay.

Andy knows that there's still a realistic chance of earning a first round bye, and it's a coin toss whether we can get the first seed. Our remaining schedule includes just one team with a winning record, IIRC, and that's the Patriots. And the Patriots realistically might lose at least two of the next four games. Possibly three. If we can defeat them in December, and win out, we should be the first seed.

Pat is the key to that scenario. Sitting him and possibly suffering a loss to the Titans or the Chargers probably eliminates that opportunity. If Andy is going to be the tough-minded HC that we all want him to be, he'd likely have to roll the dice and start Pat this weekend, if he's ready to go.

There is zero chance that Mahomes doesn't start if he suits up.
