RB Darwin Thompson Cut (Now Back)

The Chiefs have waived Darwin Thompson, a source tells The Star.

I would say it’s good to have him on the PS because he knows the offense already, but I don’t think he does

Why trade Mecole?

He tied for 52nd in yards with 9 of those being TEs, so 43rd among WRs.
He tied for 54th in receptions with 13 of those being TEs, so 41st among WRs.

With two players in the top 15 in both categories ahead on the same team, that's pretty ****ing respectable.

I guess I don't understand the hate for a productive player just because he doesn't fit a position that everyone wants to fill (X receiver).

Sammy Watkins most productive season in KC was 52 receptions, 673 yards, and 3 TDs. Mecole puts up 59 for 693 and 2 TDs (in 3 more games) and all anyone can think about is how much we miss what Watkins brought to the table. Watkins didn't produce much more at any point.

If we should be screaming at a WR, it's Robinson...

As for CEH, yeah, I'm not impressed by his vision and I don't think he ever holds up to a full schedule in this league. It's not about being productive, he's moderately productive. The Chiefs may have to just realize they didn't get what they bargained for sooner than later though.

Being with TB for the last little while, he could bring some intel that might help if they meet up with the Chiefs later on.

Andy,"Hello, Darwin, come in and have a seat"

Darwin nods and sits down

Andy,"Welcome back. So, what can you tell us about Brady in Tampa?"

Darwin,"He makes out with his son, he gets the most ridiculous PI calls, and he's a total dick on the field but never gets a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty".

Andy,"Son, we were hoping you could tell us something we don't know"

Darwin, very uneasy, "His wife is a witch?"

Andy,"..........."
