RB Darwin Thompson Cut (Now Back)

The Chiefs have waived Darwin Thompson, a source tells The Star.

Wouldn't be surprised to see one or both make it. Isn't the ps larger because of covid?

Pretty expected decision considering they want to keep Williams and they picked up McKinnon for a reason. Plus Gore showed he can play.

But god dang people really hated Thompson for no real reason. The dude never really looked comfortable in the passing game, but you'd think he cost us a game or something by people here. I've never been one to subscribe to mob mentality though.

Oh and that play against the Texans in the playoffs, it was obvious as hell he hesitated to let Yelder block the guy who might have had the angle on him. He should've just tried to beat the guy to the sideline and maybe he wouldn't have gotten caught from behind at the 5, but shit...he was in the right place at the right time and made the play. I was pretty happy about it...

Chiefs must be stacked if we can cut the best RB in the NFL.
