He's the player everyone was hoping McCluster would be for years.

But yes, very Sproles like, and will probably play some WR.

No Berry.

AGAIN.

But, there comes a point when a guy has been out and then you throw him back in, I think it kind of ****s everything up.

Grbac being the greatest Chiefs example of all time.

I like Berry a lot. A whole lot. People who think he's overrated are clearly mentally deficient or do not possess eyeballs.

That said, if he doesn't get back in and get back up to his standard, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to shop him when the time comes. NO ONE under this regime is getting the "Good ol' buddy O' Carl"-treatment.

You have Charles and Davis, so he can't be a power back. Is he your Sproles or something?

Or is he strictly a special teamer. Not that that is bad. 49ers gave up a punt return to Sproles for a TD last week, so we are vulnerable to a great return man if that is all DAT is.

What is the scoop here? Why you guys hoping for him to play?
No one is entirely sure yet. None of us would have predicted that McKnight would have even seen any snaps on offense against the Dolphins, but he did and ended up with 2 receiving TDs. I could easily see the same thing happening with DAT. Reid will probably have 4-5 plays drawn in the game plan especially for him early on. He'll probably get a quick bubble screen and a shot down field.

I...actually agree.

I think, right now, Berry is our most disposable stud.

I don't WANT to lose him but having a steady FS makes his loss seem less severe.

Imagine if he was healthy AND Abdullah was balling like he is...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Thomas will come in on drives and like Sproles the defense sees him and thinks

When guys with his quickness + the defense winded they are vulnerable.
If you give him just a few feet of space he can get around you.
Tired players get sloppy. They don't stay low and wide. They tend to panic and over-pursue.

Problem is that Marcus Cooper might be out too. He wasn't spectacular but that leaves us with Ron Parker starting in his role and Kurt Coleman taking over for Parker at safety. That's scary.

I don't like Avery being out. He was really starting to catch a groove.

What kind of vagina-cleaning camp is this man running, anyway?!

This is a very winnable game I think Alex is going to do everything to beat his old team and Harbaugh. 30-20 Chiefs.

DeAnthony Thomas is making his NFL debut. If you don't think they had this game circled for quite a while you are crazy. Chiefs

Maybe this is the week that they pull a TE seam route to Kelce down the middle?

It is a balancing act this week for Vegas. 49ers are a fan better favorite. But KC just dominated on MNF. But you could say Pats played like crap and KC fueled by Arrowhead. But could also say 49ers win was on the back on Philly O-Line more like F-Line and Foles failing. 7 drives where they didn't give the ball to the 49ers. 0 TDs.

Bets have come in on KC and that is why the line has dropped.
