How sad is it that the second part made me way happier than the first. Also, does this bode well for Berry playing the rest of the way?

This is actually a good point. Are we really going to have only 3 active safeties on the roster for the AFCCG (Lucas, Sorenson, Murray) assuming Berry can't go? Maybe they can re-sign Parker in a few days and cut someone else if on Friday it looks like Berry won't be able to go?

I don’t want to go too far out on a limb here but I think this may also mean they believe Berry will be good to go?

He'd get it anyway as a vested veteran who was on the roster on opening day. His salary is fully guaranteed. As for playoff shares, etc... my memory is that those are determined by team vote and yeah, Parker's gonna get voted a full share.

Besides, the damn equipment manager will get a ring so yes, Ron Parker will as well. Hell, I'm betting Josh Shaw gets one.

I don't if it's been said, but I almost 100% that the NFL/Teams award Rings to any player that was active for a game, at any point in the season. So, if we win the SB that really slow safety Shaw will get a Ring.
