No representation without taxation

Using the old no taxation without representation I thought I would post a poll in reverse considering half the population pays no Federal Income tax at all. Should they have representation? It could solve the vast majority of our voter fraud as well. If you are a citizen who pays Federal Income tax you get a ballot.

What if your work is government contracts then wouldn't you beholden to the government also? How could one be objective?

FWIW most retirees pay tax. A portion of SS is still taxed. All pension and retirement fund distributions are taxed except ROTH. I’ve done some taxes for some retirees and disabled folks that are flat struggling. They still all owe some.

I guess the exception would be folks in the rest home that have a gigantic medical deduction.

Negative tax liabilities come from kids in most cases and the refundable credits that require kids to be taken. And that’s the earned income credit and the child tax credit.

Even if the taxpayer in question works and has some federal tax withholding that pays federal income tax, since the credit is refundable so they still have tax on the 1040 but below that they have a pretty big windfall.

Nobody really wanted to believe that hordes of pasty "voluntary celibates" - like something from the bloated remains of gamer-gate, born from a tragic marriage of victim-hood and social dysfunction in a three-way with perverse views of the sexes - would find each other in the darker places of rediit and (bleep) chan. There, these young adult males swap steamy He-man fan fic and verbose manifestos about those popular girls from their high school days and their demon ways and how those girls are the sole reason for the males failure.

We didn't wanted to believe. And now they are here.

Based on the amount of 70+ year old people on Medicaid (because they didnt save enough to retire) in order to live out their days in a nursing home, this plan will backfire big if your goal was to decrease dem voters.

Obviously this could be tweaked to include people who have been paying income tax their whole life. There are several things that could be added to it like property tax should probably qualify. The basic point was if you don't pay income tax and part of the answer then why should you be allowed to vote in order to steal other peoples money for yourself and become part and even bigger problem than you are already.

No I don't consider item taxes paid for with free money paying taxes.
