I thought it would be cool to have a thread for the best postseason in sports, the NHL Playoffs.

Even though my Kings are out, I love watching the playoffs and wish the best to all of you with your teams.

Well, there goes one of my Finals teams...

The warning signs were there, but they hid them well by chasing down the Wild for 1st in the West... something like 32 of 38 possible points at on time.

And as far as I know, you can't renegotiate deals in the NHL, so that sucks for them.

Nice to have a few extra days off as the Leafs and Capitals continue to blitz one another into (hopefully) a seven game series.

The Jackets deserved better though. As Torts put it in his postgame presser, this wasn't a 4-1 series. A better draw in the postseason, and Columbus gets to Round 2....but it is what it is.
