Did you think drafting a WR was going to suddenly turn Alex Smith into Brett Favre?

Alex Smith and Andy Reid have a system. Adding a another WR wasn't going to provide near the impact that drafting defensive players could potentially have.

Yeah, they pretty much have to say it, but the fans don't have to be gullible enough to fall for it every time. We all know that 32 teams are not going to get their top 7 picks (give or take) every time.

"#1 on our board" is right up there with "We had to take him because the team right behind us was going to pick him if we didn't" when the pick is a reach.

Wow Browns WRs going down one by one.

According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Browns WR Nate Burleson fractured his left arm during a recent minicamp and will need minor surgery.
Just a few hours after the Josh Gordon suspension news breaks, the Browns receiving corps takes another punch to the gut. Although Burleson is expected back for training camp, this is the same arm he broke during last year's car accident and the recurring nature of the injury is cause for concern. Without Gordon and Burleson, the Browns top-three wideouts would be Andrew Hawkins, Greg Little and Josh Cooper. It's not a warm welcome for Johnny Manziel.

Ya, I'm sick of player interviews as well. All cliché. But Dee Ford was a great interview. Love his confidence.

I'm feeling better about these picks. Not crazy about Gaines. Durability issues are scaring me. We've drafted injury prone guys and history sure as **** repeats itself. Knile Davis, Tony Moeaki.
