Trade thoughts
I am in a 1/2 ppr league. Start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1Flex
My team is QB - P. Mahomes, J. Fields, K. Pickett RB - J. Taylor, J. Mixon, AJ. Dillon, M. Carter WR - AJ Brown, Di Johnson, E. Moore, B. Aiyuk, D. Hopkins, A. Pierce, S. Moore, M. Hardman, J. Dotson TE - C. Kmet, I. Likely, G. Dulcich I have been offered 3 trades for J. Taylor Trade 1 - I get CEH and D. Knox Trade 2 - I get D. Montgomery, K. Herbert, and G. Kittle Trade 3 - I get JK Dobbins and C. Godwin but he also wants E. Moore. Would you do any of these trades? Last edited by chop; 10-05-2022 at 06:03 PM.. |

I'm not excited about any of them.
Trade 1 - Most of CEH's points are on TD's so I don't think his production is sustainable. Trade 2 - I'm intrigued about possibly getting Kittle even though he hasn't done anything so far this year but I think he will produce more once their LT gets back. I just don't think Adding the Chicago backfield will be enough to trade away JT. Trade 3 - I'm not sure what Dobbins usage is going to be once Edwards gets back. I know Dobbins is the #1 here but will he get enough usage to warrant giving up JT? I just want to know what others think so I can see if I am off base with my assessment.

Given you traded away Andrews, I like the looks of #2. I Like it better when Herbert is starting over Montgomery. That kid is the real deal.

Not for everyone - but my favorite trade chart updated for week 5 says all of these should be a no go.
https://twitter.com/PeakedInHS_FF/st...iLatn5tsbk2qiA Taylor will get healthy, and he will figure it out. Regardless of the chart, I don’t think you trade your hero RB. If trying to upgrade TE, I’d maybe counter with AJ Dillon + Elijah Moore for Kittle + Herbert. Or maybe see if he will bite on Hopkins for Kittle straight up (personally I wouldn’t want to part with Hopkins). |

I wouldn't come close to making any of those moves

They aren't rosy, that's for sure. With Jimmy G starting the rest of the season and Kittle getting back to health, I'd have to think Kittle's production will increase substantially. If Herbert were the lead back in Chicago and not Montgomery, I'd probably bite. Given it's the other way around, it's not as enticing. Maybe, just maybe Chicago will open their eyes and give the better back more touches.
Tough to give up one of the potential top 3 backs in the NFL for such an unknown in return. As for the other trades, well, no. |
