DBowe Status

So if the Chiefs can't work out a long term deal with Bowe sometime before week 6, do the Chiefs trade him? I think it's highly unlikely, but it wouldn't surprise me. Especially if the Chiefs can get someone they deem close to Bowe's talent under $9.5M in FA or the Draft. And they do covet draft picks. It's not far-fetched to consider that the Chiefs might want to work a deal with Albert and Dorsey this year. Personally, I hope they find a way to lock Bowe up long term. Unless of course, they can get someone to grossly overpay.

There are no excuses anymore, this guy needs to get even better or I think they will trade him. I think he still was second in drops in the NFL last season.

Oh, and people were clamoring for a 2nd wr last year. Once we finally got one, for some reason now people want to trade the number 1. At that point, we'll have to draft one again.
I'm not sure that anyone here is calling for him to be traded. It is more about anticipating what the front office might do with him as the situation is somewhat tenuous and there are multiple options available.

Anybody wanting to trade him is farging nuts. This is the best receiver we have had since the days of Otis Taylor. It took almost 40 years to get a receiver of that caliber.
