Monitor Calibration ... what a difference!!
my monitor picture has been looking like crap lately ... so bad that i thought the thing was going bad.

i don't know what happened

so anyway i started messing with the contract/brightness/color etc ... trying to get to look decent. No Luck at all


tried a free monitor calibration program ... was total crap. It was all manual and you still have to figure out how to work it.


then i found this one ... more automatic and better explaination


finally got rid of that white haze on the edge of my monitor and the colors are back looking sharp.

ya ... like when you turn the brightness up too far.

man, it looked crappy

add the haze all over and even more "white tint" on the left and right edge.

all gone now.

How does this software work? You said it was automatic. Does it adjust voltage levels on its own?

don't know about voltage ...


it's about color/contract/gamma etc


you have to match some color square by using this slider. Then you have to select your monitor type and a couple of other choices.


made a big difference on the overall look of mine though.


my monitor settings much of been major screwed up.
