That 4th and 9 play catapulted Mahomes into another stratosphere to me.

I spent my life watching Steve Sabol highlight videos of Joe Montana, Steve Young, Kurt Warner and football legends come through when dead to rights in the fourth quarter on 4th down like that -- and I never thought that one of those QB's would develop as the franchise QB in Kansas City.

But I never, ever saw one of the above QB's make a throw like that. Mahomes proved that day that he not only kept his composure, but rose to the occasion to give us what may prove to be the most memorable regular season win of his career (so far).
