What NFL Draft Busts suprised you the most?

I wanted this in the lounge so I could get more looks. Who were some sure fire college players you thought would be great who weren't?

Some that really suprised me:

Vernon Gholston; he was dang near unblockable his last year at O-State, when he was matched up against Jake Long he absolutely dominated him. I was really suprised to see how bad he did in the League.

Taylor Mays; I never cared for the kid, but I honestly thought he would be a baller and boy was I off.

Big Daddy Dan Wilkinson; He is one of the first players I watched that I could actually tell was dominating. At Ohio State he was unblockable, he fizzled out in Cinci (common theme), but he bounced around and never made himself a name.

There's plenty more, but that's enough for now.

Was smith as great as you remember? I remember him running through gigantic holes before being touched.

Honestly, none.

There has never been a guy that I just KNEW was going to be awesome that busted. Most of the guys listed in here I said I thought would suck.

The closest I would get to that would be Gholston. Probably because he was a great pass rusher, damn near unblockable as a senior against NFL level talent, and somehow it never transferred into the pros. It's just pass rushing! And he had a great work ethic so I thought he had a great shot, but certainly wasn't beating down doors for him.

My opinion on guys like Akili Smith and Cade McNown and Ron Dayne and pretty much every big bust has been spot on.

Robert Gallery had alligator arms. I knew he'd suck nuts as a left tackle. You can't play left tackle with ****ing 1 foot long arms. That one was easy. I was shocked at how much people thought of him.

I've been racking my brain trying to think of someone, but every guy I've ever thought would bust did. My opinion is that RGIII will be a bust too. It's hard for me to believe how many people here are on his nuts.

Getting carried by a defense to those games has no bearing on his play. They have won mostly in spite of him. JFC get real.

He's clearly the weak link on that team and that's not a good thing when it's the QB holding you back. Drafted to be a "Franchise QB" and those guys are supposed to raise the play of thier teammates.

AJ Hawk. He's been ok, but nowhere near where he was hyped.

Reggie Bush. Watched him since his HS days. He showed flashes of Gale Sayers, but he's no where near those numbers, and hasnt broken 1 1000 yard season

Not sure he was a complete bust, but i thought JJ Stokes was gonna be HUGE before he got drafted.
