If Bolton and his agent are being honest about his value he'll look at Patrick Queens contract and look to marginally top that. So somewhere around an AAV of 14.

That's what it will be unless some stupid team like the Raiders wants to try to screw us over and give out a Christian Kirk-esque deal.

With inflation it would be around $15 million for that deal this year. But that’s the line for me with Bolton. If he wants more than $15 million APY I think you tell him good luck and let him go.

I think they are going to keep him though bc Trey is way overpriced and running Spags defense requires football IQ that Bolton and Reid provided on the back end.

I don’t think Spags wants to lose both guys. I think he’s been hammering to Veach that they must keep Bolton

It makes no sense to re-sign Smith. Replaceable position and the market is too high. I'm surprised any team would pay over $20 million for a guard but that's the price.

The first questions to be answered after Kelce are whether they keep Reid/Bolton. Or both possibly.

We need to steal Ty Johnson from the Bills. They will be busy with James Cook so he’s ripe for the picking.

Only 27. This is our new McKinnon. So much juice. One of the better receiving backs. Would be a great fit here and a badly needed playmaker.

Been ignoring chiefs stuff for a while tbh. Needed a break from the season and just to get over the disappointment of the SB. Feeling more back to normal now and ready to start the process of another run. Things i feel we desperately need

1. Sure of up the line is of course crucial.

2. I want to see three RB's brought in. Going into next season without a vastly improved Rungame would be utterly criminal. Enough is enough. Give Pat a good fecking rungame now fgs and help him.

3. Another CB. Losing Watson exposed the secondary too much. And tbh I'm not sure Trent is that good on the outside.

4. Athletic LB. We missed Gay's speed and movement in the middle of the field imo.

5. A new DT to help Chris.

6. A fresh TE to further prepare for Travis's exit.

7. A bigger WR to compliment Rice and Worthy.

8. A fast safety that can play single high as most of our safeties prefer to play closer to the box imo.

Veach has some work to do but I'm exited to feel that hunger again. We haven't been a hunter for three years so let's fecking go yall.

Have to fix this. We have to focus on getting young talented playmakers on offense.

This is just a left tackle chart.

You can't be explosive on offense if you don't have time to throw.

That’s a part of it, sure.

But the Chiefs had the same LT for 2021 & 2022.

Teams simply adjusted to how they played the Chiefs on defense.

But to your point, get the LT situation solidified and add another explosive playmaker on offense and they can get back to being that explosive offense from before.

2021 was Patrick working out his issues with the way defenses played the Chiefs.

2022 he figured out how to destroy teams who stayed in Cover 2.

Also Brown wasn't very good at the start of 2021 if I recall.

This could be already fixed by getting Rice back, and Worthy being familiar with the offennse.

Bring
Bring Brown back and maybe a third down RB and it is not the playmakers that are the concern.
