That's a Nike thing. When they are set at the LOS it is supposed to look like the Nike swoosh. It's bullshit.

The first time I saw our O-Line set at the LOS I thought, "Oh, go **** yourselves Nike. Seriously. I hate you guys."

I need to check out the swoosh.

But yeah, the blue uniforms are an utter travesty. The orange ones were ugly, but they were unique and they set the Broncos apart. The blue ones are a big yawn. I wish they'd go back to the orange.

As I recall, the Broncos put in the request last year and will be returning to the orange as of this season. About ****ing time.

The NFL Approves Orange Jerseys for the 2012 Denver Broncos

by Troy Hufford on Oct 3, 2011 2:45 PM MDT in News

http://www.milehighreport.com/2011/1...denver-broncos

Finally, we have some news that Broncos fans can rally around.

The NFL has approved the Broncos request to wear orange jerseys at home, beginning in 2012. Can you imagine if the NFL rejected the request? There's already enough tension over the Broncos' 1-3 start, but if our orange jerseys were rejected, every store in Broncos Country would be sold out of pitchforks and torches. Thankfully, the request was granted and the Broncos will be predominantly orange for the first time since the 1990s.

As a fan, this really excites me. Watching film and hearing Broncos history, it's impossible to ignore the "Orange Crush" defense. As one of the younger fans of the Broncos on MHR, I've really had to educate myself about the history of orange, because I've seen Blue and White as the primary colors for most of my fanhood, with Orange serving as a "throwback" or "alternative" color. This franchise isn't a blue and white franchise, however.

After looking in OctoberFart's thread about "trolling the Mane" I did go there and they have some shopped Manning pics. You won't like them.

Ha. Fair enough. Honestly, I love the logo. Always have. Especially the full-body bronco. I think the fact that a thousand college teams copied the template made me sour on it very quickly.

Ok, not exactly crumbled on the turf, but here's what I whipped up...I've only got about 15 free minutes, so don't hate if it's not perfect, lol.

Someone needs to do Brokeneck Mountain, starring Peyton Manning and his horse, John Elway.
