I looked after 4 ip or 5 ip and he had like 6 K's and 0 ER. Not sure what happened after that but he seemed like he was rolling for a while.

Kowar has been good for several appearances. They moved him to the middle of the rubber and tweaked the release after the bad west coast trip. Also the work they've done with MacArthur may be paying off.

Playing in the majors is so hard that success by anyone should be appreciated.

Back when MLB had expanded 40-man rosters in September, I would say there were some late season performances that were questionable, but not in 2023.
