Chiefs/Arrowhead New Code of Conduct. No standing during the game.

Looks like the "wine and cheeseing" of the "New" Arrowhead patrons continues.

What about the people who pay an asston of money and can't see the game because you won't sit down? Isn't their money as good as yours? Or are you somehow special?

The answer is pretty simple. Stand and yell when we are on defense and sit down and shut up when we are on offense (until after the play.)

You should not stand and cheer the entire game. Only while on defense (and for some weird reason special teams which gives no advantage to either team.)

I was at the Chiefs Raider game in Oakland on Monday night a few years back with Big Daddy and was able to get the whole section to cheer Rai - Ders.

They had the ball and were driving to win the game in the final seconds and their fans were yelling while the QB was calling plays at the line of scrimmage. Idiots.

Where I grew up (KC in the 70s, with season tickets from 72 through 76) you stand up when it is appropriate, and sit down the rest of the time. And try not to ruin things for everyone else.

There is absolutely no reason to stand for the entire game. If you do, you deserve the crap you get from the others around you.

Unless of course you have a loud mouth focking female Denver fan right behind you like I did a few years ago when I was still Nzoner 338.

No standing at Chiefs games?

There's a bit of a buzz on the Internet right now about the Chiefs' "Fan Code of Conduct," which is posted on the team's website. Specifically, one policy states that the Arrowhead Stadium staff will proactively intervene with fans who are "standing and/or obstructing the view of other fans."
Hmmm. No standing during a football game? Ever? Sit down, please! Is that even possible? (Well, maybe it is, considering how dull the Chiefs offense was last season.)
But let's take the policy for the spirit it was intended: There are appropriate times to stand, or even remain standing. I'll give you a hint: Goal-line situations, fourth-and-1, etc. Stand at those times. But you don't stand the entire game just to be a nuisance, blocking the view of the fans behind you.

Still, the vague wording of the Chiefs' policy did lead to a pretty good line from one of best NFL websites, www.profootballtalk.com, which wrote, "...maybe, down the road, it's just another way to raise money. Fans will be able to stand...if they've purchased a Personal Standing License (PSL)."

This is teh ghey. They tried to implement this a few years ago at Ben Hill Griffin in the student section. The student section stand the entire game, only sitting down during a brief commercial break or during halftime. Cops kept coming through telling people to sit-down. They might have been more successful if the logically started in the 1st row and moving upwards - but starting at the top and telling people to sit down while the rows directly in front of them were still standing was doomed to failure.

Letters were written to the AA complaining about this and inquiring to the purpose of this new policy. Suffice it to say they abandoned this ridiculous notion of making the student section sit during games. Instead, they now focus on making sure the student section does not stand on the bleachers during the games.

Are midgets exempt from this rule? Obviously, a midget has difficulty seeing over a normal-sized person seated in front of them, so standing is their only option. I wouldn't have a problem with midgets getting the boot out of the stadium, of course. Then again, maybe the new Arrowhead will have a midget section where they can clap with their miniature hands and cheer with their squeaky little voices.

Would it be a midget/child section? Or would children be classified as midgets (or vice versa)?
