Home and Auto Wheel Stuck On Car!!! WTH?? - Page 2

Ok so my wife ran over a screw the other day. Car has been sitting in the driveway with a flat. I get out there the other day to take the lugs off and man was that an exercise. Can we say over-torqued? So anyway I finally get them loose. Go out this morning, jack the car up, take the lugs off....wheel won't come off!!!

I am on a slight incline so yanking super hard is not an option but none the less the flipping wheel is stuck on the car. Not coming off.

Any ideas?

My only thought is to plug it myself since I can see where the screw is, fill up the tire and drive to the tires plus that last touched the damn thing.

Your mancard is in question in you don't get this wheel off.

On a side note, save the WD for when you put the wheel back on to spray on the studs. Be careful not to get any on the rotor and brake pads. As long as it's off, hit the rotor with a good shot of brake cleaner (after) you use the WD to lube the studs. Make sure to start the lug nuts by hand so you do get the dreaded cross thread on a stud. If you strip one of the studs, your life will become really entertaining.

I just went through this yesterday with my Polaris 800 X2 ATV. I got new wheels and big meaty tires for the thing and had to replace all four wheels and tires. The lugs on my setup are inset, so it was a bit of a bitch.

if ALL else fails put the lugnuts back on just a little loose air up the tire somewhat and drive the car up and down the driveway a couple of times not too awful much but that will break the tire loose we run into this on duallies sometimes
