Trick or Treaters

Are you ready for the little humans tonight? What's your set-up?

I have all my candy divided and organized as to type in different bowls. I'm pretty anal about how I organize candy by brands.

I will select each candy to match who is at my door. There has to be some automated way of dealing with this, so you can still read or watch TV. Any ideas for that?

I am already snitching bits and pieces. Hope I don't run out.

We had 1 this year. Most years there are only 5-10 total anyway. There are very few kids in our neighborhood.

Had a lot of kids. Mostly from apartments and other places. We have a new house and a new development-so some think we are rich.

My daughter did all of the door work.

Then had a kid show up at 9:15 when the lights were off.

Pretty funny to watch the Chiefs D-Line walk into a hunted house.

I'm 41 and it was the same way, once I was about 8 we'd go out with Mom or Dad for a while, then continue on ourselves.

We didn't hand ot candy this year, with 2 under 7 we just took them around. We are the only house on our side of the block, and our steep driveway really cuts down on traffic. A couple of years ago I bought 60 full size bars and gave out only about half.

Heck, even though it was cold and snowed all day, by 8:15 as we neared home I realized we were the only ones still on the streets.
