Remember though the Chiefs don't rebuild under Peterson, they re-load for making a run at 9-7 finishes.
And I'll be saying the same thing 4-5 years from now that I'm saying about Herm now... he's an average coach that is way too conservative and his mediocre in his game/clock mgt. |

I think if he were smart he would be better served to take a look at some of the other head coaching opportunities out there. Not that I know if those teams would part with a 5th and 6th or whatever, but inheriting a young Detroit Lions football team, even with Millen, certainly has the potential of making his resume look better 4 or 5 years down the road then inheriting the geriatric 53 man roster of the Kansas City Chiefs. The same could be said of multiple other head coaching opportunities out there, such as those in Minnesota, Houston, and even St Louis.

4 or 5 years as a HC is a career in the NFL.
But whoever comes better win now, cause the cap could explode in a couple years.
