Jamaal Charles has worked his tail off and has done a lot to help this football team (especially last year when he was the only offensive player who should have gone to the Pro Bowl.) Charles helped lift the team up this season for the first regular season touchdown by a Chief from 56 yards.

He is still sitting with a crappy contract, and Studebaker gets an extension? This isn't to bash Studebaker. Good for him.. Do the Chiefs not want to keep Charles?

Studebakers contract is easy to do since he's not a big time player so contract discussions won't be a distraction. But Jamaal is the prime time guy on this team so Pioli likely wants to wait until the off season.
