I am amazed they released it with a whisper. I read that 80k people purchased it within 12 hours and 200k purchased it up to this point. I am going to start the download tonight! Did they make it more user friendly like most FPS? I hope they put a jump mode in, too. |

Zombies are more zombielike and less crazed, and they are spawned on the server so they don't know where you are constantly etc. They really have made some big improvements, but they still have a long way to go. I read something like they have made 10 million dollars in sales since release... for a freaking Alpha game. |

I got antsy today and ordered an EVGA 780 superclocked with ACX cooler, and am going to go ahead and sell my EVGA 670 FTW, for a total cost of about 200 bucks for a pretty big upgrade that I can SLI into insanity in the future. The 780 also came with 3 AAA PC titles free, Arkham Origins, the new Splinter Cell, and Assasins Creed; Black Flag which looks awesome. I will likely give away the codes for Arkham, and Splinter cell though.
The only reason I didn't go with the 290x is that the 780 was 100 bucks cheaper for a non-reference (aftermarket cooler designs), while being within a hair of performance, and the non-reference cards for the 290x wont be out until January, and then will command another 100 dollar price premium. I think for the 200 bucks, and the fact that I was antsy to get it (2 day shipping via Amazon prime ftw) and the 290x reference cards having some major heat/noise issues I made the best choice for now. Also, my current PSU can handle two 780s, but not 2 290xs. |

Anyone played the Mount & Blade series?
Want a good medieval game and this was suggested to me...more specifically, Warband with the Napoleon DLC which sounds nuts. |

The Witcher series has a great medieval feel to it, but it's a fantasy RPG.

Left 4 Dead 2 is evidently free until tomorrow morning. Of course, THIS killed their servers too. Good luck downloading it today.

The Dayz standalone is so fun but sooooo buggy. Is there a group of CPers wanting to play? It's so much more fun with a group. I've had a ton of loot and been killed by a few people together that can outman me.
