Hootie is always right because when a player or a team does something that he was initially wrong about, he changes his opinion so that he was right all along.

As I understand this thread, and the history brought up in it.

It's not about Hootie being right (because if he's not right, he'll just change his opinion to the right one), but about some other guys being wrong.
That's gotta feel good.

It's amazing that you attended college and yet still can't understand how to read for comprehension.

It's not about what makes you happy. You started this thread to crow about how the 2010 draft class was everything that people who didn't like it said it wouldn't be. You then decided to go on a rant about how you are always right.

Well, it may well turn out that the 2010 class is a grand slam draft, but what you ignore is the fact that you were just as disgusted by those picks at the time as many of the people who you are calling out.

See: McCluster, Dexter
See: Your desire to pick Cody and then a huge gap over anyone else
See: Your desire for us to do anything to trade up for Clausen, and arguing that the Rams should have drafted him.

When has anyone suggested that they wanted the 2010 draft to fail? That's a strawman. Furthermore, it's obvious that you were not only wrong, but spectacularly wrong about the 2008 draft class, despite being Nostrawatersports.

You wanted us to trade Dorsey, DJ, you bashed Carr, and you claimed the entire draft class was an abject failure.

Well, who made the biggest plays (aside from the McCluster return) that led to that win last night?

DJ, Dorsey, Carr, and Charles...all of the players that you bashed.

But you're never wrong.

Just because you "flipped" your opinion doesn't mean that you were right or insightful, it just means that you had no idea what you are talking about, and you lack the courage of your convictions.

Basically, your entire approach can be summed up as such:

You see a bunch of guys in Affliction gear. You think it's stupid. Then someone else tells you it's cool. You then go out and blow your entire stimulant bankroll on Affliction, Ed Hardy, and Tap Out apparel, start jacking roids that you bought from Steve, your piss and pill source, and cover yourself in Tang before you go to a bar and slip some girl a GHB kamikaze while you finger your asshole and tell your friends to smell it.

You then claim that you started the trend.

You didn't. You were just one of the first to play follow the leader because you have no mind of your own.

Your entire posting style and your "opinions" (which aren't really even that) are a microcosm of your entire thought process: ADD. You seek instant gratification for everything to the point where nothing that happens either before or after has any bearing on the future or past. It's nonsensical, but you can't understand this because you are 1) hopped up 2) stupid 3) delusional and 4) sociopathic.

You can't argue both sides of the issue and claim to be right. You're wrong about every one of these players.

I was as excited about anyone about the 2008 draft class...

Looks like the year three thing may hold true for us...

and if that's the case with Dorsey...

EVERYONE WAS BEING FAR TOO HARD ON TYSON JACKSON.

You were so excited you couldn't wait to call it a complete failure. Because, again, you never take the time to actually wait on anything because everything has to happen RIGHT****INGNOW!!

That's why you want to call Sanchez a bust after 17 games, that's why you wanted to flush Dorsey, and that's why you are always wrong.

You have no patience. You are the Leeroy Jenkins of fandom, only without the comedy, the internet following, the relevance...well, nevermind that.

You're the idiot who sprints out into a minefield because you can't wait for it to be cleared.

Not me. They have similar potential if you ask me. Quinn has learned what life is like in the NFL for two years and is a hell of a QB...I'd be ecstatic if we got him for a 1st and a 2nd...

He is the most logic piece for this franchise...nothing makes more sense than doing anything possible to acquire Brady Quinn.

That's gotta feel good.
To Hootie's credit, he seems to be pretty good about re-evaluating a situation objectively even if it doesn't dovetail with his preconceived notion. Take the McCluster pick. He wanted someone else and was initially pissed. After checking out McCluster, he came to the conclusion that it was a pretty good pick.

To those who practice an absolute scorched earch approach to anyone and everything that does not mirror their own ideas, it may seem like waffling. The truth is that Hootie was on-board with the pick long before training camp ever started. He isn't openly rooting for Clausen to make Pioli look like a fool for passing on him just out of spite.

There are pricks on here who are absolutely insufferable towards those with opposing opinions (God forbid someone should disagree with drafting Ghoulstin or Clausen number one overall.) It makes for a good time rubbing their faces in it. If I thought it would be any different next year, that would be one thing. It won't, though. It will be more of the same. The more they are proven wrong, the stronger their need to double down next time.
