Wait a minute. How can Kaepernick be a good QB? He was drafted in the 2nd round. I thought only a top 2 or 3 pick in the draft could net you a good QB.

Additionally, Kaep has arguably the best QB coach on planet Earth in Harbaugh right now. I'm sure that has been somewhat beneficial.

One guy has substance to his game and the other flukes stuff up in spite of completing 4 passes a game, as a result drives his critics insane, and gets the hype of a top 5 qb that his on field play has neeeeever warranted at the NFL level.
I like Tebow and everything he represents but that's really all it is as opposed to a double standard. |

Perfect response. No one ever claimed guys drafted after the 1r never pan out it is just a matter of playing odds at the most important position. |

just out of curiosity, why did Kaepernick drop to the 2nd?

My buddy loved him coming out of college. I had literally never watched him play until draft day when they showed highlights. Felt pretty meh about him then. Now I feel like an asshole.

Cowherd asked the ? to a NFL guy (I was only half listening) and I think I heard the guy say they didn't like his delivery.
I watched him play in college against MU twice and he was kind of blah but that was earlier in his career. Then I saw him against Boise st on a fri night and they upset them. The thing about all 3 games is that I didn't remember him completing a high % of passes. So my impression was just that he was a great athlete but not a nfl qb. Meh, guys get missed on by the pros let alone armchair hacks on the Internet. Really the only thing that I laugh at are people that think they know for a fact a player is going to be great or not. None of us know squat but it's fun to discuss and exchange opinions and learn. |

Yea, i almost mentioned that too. He does look like he has a little hitch in his delivery or throws at 3 quarters or sidearms. Doesnt seem to hurt him much.
