Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started. Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Ok another n00b question. I feel pretty lethargic right now like tonights lift really sapped all my energy.

Add some chicken to the top and it sounds legit. Need a good source of protein at every meal. You have to strive to always plan your meal around your protein source first.

Plus, since Buck is, in theory, trying to lean bulk, planning meals around protein will help keep him satiated and limit intake somewhat.
