Chase Claypool+new offense+being a clear top 2 option with a QB with a live arm that isn't a statue. I'm a little intrigued

The Bears do seem to have some potential. The beatdown they laid on New England was amazing. I guess a second rounder isn't that bad. They still have a ton of holes to plug. Pace did a ton of damage there before they finally greased him. He was their Pioli, except he lingered much longer.

Great trade for Chicago in my opinion. The goal is to get better and right now the Bears severely lack at WR outside of Mooney.

When you get a WR like Claypool for a 2nd rounder, you're doing things right. It isn't just about THIS year. Going forward, Claypool helps them a bunch. If they are going to compete, they have to get more talented in the passing game.

They don’t have a QB.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of Justin Fields.

They are also just good enough to be out of the sweepstakes for a top 2 pick. I'd venture to say they'll try to address it if they can but you never know. Poles seems to be dedicated to cleaning out the cobwebs though.

Probably not but if you're going to spend a top 15 pick on him its irresponsible to punt him to an island like they did. Especially with that bad offensive line. At least give him something to work with and give him a fair shot to sink.

He has actually been halfway decent compared to the rest of his QB class

Yes. I can't figure out why in the world Pittsburgh traded Claypool. All you said also applies to them and their young QB.

The Steelers have plenty for Pickett to work with and have the luxury of giving Pickens more reps since theyre not in win now mode. This allows them to keep the younger guy and ditch the older guy who will be due a contract soon.

Although it furthers the point that Tomlin is terrible at keeping WR attitudes in check.

Also it probably doesn't matter if you put prime Jerry rice in there as long as matt Canada is running the offense

Tomlin is a product of inheriting Big Ben.

I don't think he's a bad coach but you can only be good for so long.

I was going to say I don't think fields has been bad as I suspect most think he has been. I like his situation in Chicago better than his situation in Pittsburgh

As a Mooney owner in most of my fantasy leagues I can tell you that fields isn't a great qb.

Ironically Fields has been on a roll in fantasy. Considering seeing what I can get for Mahomes and grabbing him off waivers
