Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

But he is one of them. He was "chuy" on the 49ers.com website. And now he just joined up here. Add one more 49er fan following Alex to join with the rest of them here.

Absolutely. It isn't hard to see the lines drawn in the sand between these CP groups. Too bad everyone can't just be remotely optimistic and enjoy the ride... but in every forum, there is the yin and yang.

All my neg rep is from Snoopy. Pathetic.

I mean, what is this supposed to do? Does it dock my pay 10%. Make me impotent? Drain my 401(k)? Does my sports car throw codes or something because Maverick Ace gave me a red dot on my rep?

Oh noes, I dissed Snoopy and shall pay by being taunted a second time!

This is exactly why you 9er fans are considered douche bags and aren't wanted here. You have no idea what Geno represents. It's not about Geno; it's about 30 years of having an organizations scared to take and develop a QB at the top of a draft. Geno represents the failures of this organization to win a ****ing playoff game in 20 years. Geno was the chance to turn the corner, to go in a different direction other than ones that equaled failure. It's not about Geno, it's about the Chiefs organization of it's continued inability and desire to invest in the QB position through the draft. **** man, we have never even had a Bernie Kosar. Geno is just the latest representation of that failure. There have been and will be others. Nobody is dawning a Geno jersey on Sundays or heading the Jets forums. I would pity someone that actually does that.

By now, we damn sure do know. The problem is that our response is one or many or all of these... and you do not comprehend it or choose to dismiss it.

1. All 32 teams passed on Geno... for a reason. Your arrogance has convinced you that you know how to scout prospects better than every NFL team.
2. Whether Geno or some other rookie prospect, you have no idea if this guy would ever reach the level of above average as a pro... much less this fairy-tale epic QBotF. Many of them do not. So, your team could win 3-6 games for years, all the while, accomplishing nothing but further pain.
3. So on that last note, you are left with only MORE misery for the fans and players, who are tired of losing. Some good players will look to GTFO. You must build a winning mentality NOW. Coaches and players in their prime don't have the luxury of patience that some fans do.
4. Whether such a rookie develops well or not, the choices were made by the people in charge. There is nothing you can do, so crying and being angry about it is futile and makes you look childishly butthurt. Be mature, and simply hope for the best with less vaginal bleed-out.
5. It is still very possible for KC to develop this mythical QBotF stud in Bray or in some rookie QB next season... WHILE this vet QB helps to build that winning mentality.

I found fault with your first argument before I even read the rest of them:

Not every team needs a QB. Why in the **** would most these teams draft a QB in the first round??? As you can see, there are only a few teams that KNEW they need a QB, and some that are iffy but the jury is still out on the QB they just recently drafted.

Buffalo Bills -Drafted one.
Miami Dolphins -Just drafted Tannehill
New England Patriots -Brady
New York Jets - Ding ding
Baltimore Ravens -Biggest contract ever
Cincinnati Bengals -Have a good solid QB
Cleveland Browns -Had confidence in Weeden
Pittsburgh Steelers -Ben
Houston Texans -IMO they could use one
Indianapolis Colts -Lucked into Luck
Jacksonville Jaguars -Thought Gabbert deserved another chance
Tennessee Titans -Drafted Locker
Denver Broncos -Manning
Kansas City Chiefs -Trading for other teams backups for decades
Oakland Raiders - .....
San Diego Chargers -Rivers is legit, even if he chokes
Dallas Cowboys -Romo
New York Giants -Manning Jr
Philadelphia Eagles -Vick and still have Foles (oh yeah and drafted Barkley)
Washington Redskins - RG3
Chicago Bears -Cutler
Detroit Lions -Stafford
Green Bay Packers -Duh
Minnesota Vikings -These are the idiots who should have drafted Geno
Atlanta Falcons -Ryan
Carolina Panthers -Cam
New Orleans Saints -Duh
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -Thought Freeman could turn it around.
Arizona Cardinals -Palmer, lol
St. Louis Rams -Think they have their elite QB (although I don't see it)
San Francisco 49ers -Tatoo
Seattle Seahawks - Got the QB we should have drafted

So in reality.... a FEW teams that need a QB passed on Geno in the first round.

and I'd bet you the Vikings draft Geno in a re-do.
