Not a lot of us Raider fans are bothering with showing up to opposing boards this year. It's one thing when you think you have a shot to win, it's another when for two years in advance you knew that 2013 was going to be a rough ride.

We're paying some $50 million to players that aren't on the team anymore and have fielded a defense full of nobodies with one year contracts. Our 0-line is banged up and patchwork. But we knew this was coming so by and large we look forward to next season.

All that said, the Raiders have looked a lot better than last year. Denver took us to the cleaners but Eli Manning's older brother is on fire this year. I think our D held them to the least amount of points they've scored this season.

I expect this to be a loss, but oh god how sweet it would be to hand the Chimps their first loss of the season in Arrowhead to make it seven in a row and begin the slide that eventually finds El Camino Nation at 7-9 at the end of the season.

I have over 40 years of hate I have to manage whenever this week rolls around. But I honestly hope that Janikowski steps on a grape in his kitchen and his toe get infected and he has to use a foot spray that makes his holder vomit.
