Apparently the last time Missouri beat ranked opponents in consecutive weeks was 1972.

They said 1976 on the tv broadcast I thought. I wonder..has Mizzou ever beaten 3 ranked opponents in a row? SC should still be ranked, although I would expect a pretty good fall for them after losing to TN.

That should be a hell of a game, though. They'll be pissed after losing to the Vols. |

Hell of a game...and a hell of an opportunity for Mizzou. Hopefully they bring their best game and take advantage of it.

OK....talking way too early, but would you consider Pinkel the front-runner for Coach of the Year?

If Mizzou wins the SEC East, I don't see how he would not be.

In his first start, Mauk threw for the most yards against Florida in two years.
It is pretty damn exciting to think what the next few years could be like if this kid is the next Chase Daniel. |

Not everybody. There were knee-jerk reactionary fans, sure, but it was far from everybody.

Seriously, after last week's game I kept saying, we'll be fine if they let him throw it. I was afraid they'd go super conservative. We've got studs at WR. They let him use those weapons. |

Someone mentioned us being possibly a top 10 team tomorrow in the BCS standings. How will our SOS affect that? Vandy, GA, and Fla all being 4-3 and the best teams we've played is gonna hurt us right?
