I just used the iphone app to get all the freebie PS4 titles ready to download at least. I bet the network will be seriously bogged down this weekend though.

I'm going to update the PS4 via USB... Should I turn the PS4 on and setup the controller/internet and everything first, and then power down the PS4 and boot into safe mode to install the update? OR should I just immediately boot into safe mode and install the update before setting everything else up?

I just don't want to mess anything up when it gets here

Good idea. I'll download the update when I get off work this morning so I don't have to wait for the network download when I boot it up.

Set up first than boot into safe mode for the update.

Finally got online to PSN.

lol @ them wanting my cc # to claim that free month of plus

Yep. I don't provide CC# to Sony or MS anymore. Just go to the store and buy a card.

That reminds me, I got in an argument with a Sony rep regarding my PSN+ status. He kept saying I was not a PSN+ member when I had just put in a one year card about 2 months prior. Turns out, if you don't have a CC on file with them for autorenewal, they can't confirm that you are a PSN+ member even though you can log on to your profile and see it right there on the console.

Luckily I have one time use numbers from my credit card company, so they can suck a dick.

My impressions from the store:
-Much better system than the current store on the PS3. It doesn't lag like shit, hooray!
-Downloads are much faster.

Obviously not a lot on the store right now, but there are some good (Free!) shit on it. Resogun is fun.
