Does Alex Smith deserve a extension after this season?

Does he deserve a extension to be our QB long term or do we take a chance on somebody else.

Alex Smith is just trying to win, whatever it takes. Even if it takes not throwing the ball much.
He is doing for us this year what we need him to do.....play effective no-TO football that makes sure we are in the game.

I don't care if he is/isn't a great QB.....I just want him to be a good and effective leader.

I think Charles is great, but without a good QB you go nowhere. All you have to do to see a comparison is Barry Sander's career.

At least they aren't a bunch of pessimistic jerkoffs that are looking for any reason whatsoever to bash a guy in a new system, with a new coach and questionable talent around him other than one guy that now has the Chiefs at 11-3 and in the playoffs.

These miserable ****ers won't be happy until we draft Andrew Luck. Meaning they aren't ever going to be happy and will continue to blather negativity and vitriolic musings non-stop regardless of who is QB'ing the team.

I mean, these are the same pessimistic poopbrains who wanted to draft Mark Sanchez and Jimmy Clausen with our first round pick just so they could say we drafted a QB with a first round pick.

They refuse to give Smith any credit for this team qualifying for the playoffs with two games left after going 2-14 the year before. Screw 'em.

I think it's just hilarious how one player can someone a devoted fan of another team, and go on their board and call out their real original fans continuously like they have an ounce of legitimacy for being here. They need to get ****ed.

You have legitimacy and it is perfectly fine. I enjoy watching AS have success as well, it means good things for the Chiefs.

It's the illegitimate douche bag 49er fans coming on here within the time frame of AS becoming a Chief, and calling out the real Chief fans who have been through the trenches for years.

I love me some Alex Smith... he is doing some great things. Is he perfect? No. Is he the best QB that we've had since Trent Green? Yes.

The irony is they came here for hating Kaepernick, the qb for their team, yet bash Chiefs fans for hating Alex Smith.

Stupid two face ****ers.

I'm glad your man crush is having success, it really helps the Chiefs towards their end goal. But let's call it, you are not a Chiefs fan, just a dipshit worshiper of our current QB.

oh, i guess it's wrong to be a fan of a player that was on your fav team for practically a decade and follow him in support. We are all sorry for trying to add good vibes to your team and wishing Alex and the chiefs to succeed.

So who do you want?

Say it, right now.

Who should they pick up in either free agency or the draft in this off-season so you don't have to deal with Smith's "mediocrity" anymore?

Pony up.
